WINDOWS: Security Update for Microsoft Windows (MS04-012 | KB828741)
While not as bad as the last one, this update patches 4 vulnerabilities in Windows. Specifically, these deal with the systems that let programs run and talk to each other across several other computers. It was a vulnerability in thses systems that allowed MSBlaster to wreak havok, so make sure you install this patch immediately. Windows XP Service Pack 2 RC1 is not affected.

Got a support call ,dual install of suse and win2k.Easy 2 deal with .
Finished a triple boot of win2k,winxp and win2003e.
All is looking not well on the security front .The adoption of biometrics shall bring many a headache to network professionals and security experts.
Not 2 mention the DBase admins ! Definitely the future has arrived and Biometrics is here 2 stay!

Linux kernal before <2.46> iso 9660 file system buffer overflow vulnerability.
Another important one was the Linux ext 3 file system ,system infomation leakage vulnerability!
